TWENTY10 website
macquarie group
Background & Context
Twenty10 is an Australian state wide organisation supporting people within the LGBTI community, providing a space where they are safe – emotionally and physically. As part of the Macquarie Group Digital Delivery Online and Analytics team, I worked with Twenty10 to re-think, re-structure and re-design their online presence.
THE PROCESS
The project team comprised of two UX designers (myself and one other), two project managers, a Wordpress developer and a digital marketing expert. In order to understand each user group and their requirements, we conducted interviews with staff, volunteers, case workers, youths and adults within the LGBTI community, resulting in a series of insights that lead to several iterations of the sitemap and wireframes.
We also conducted user tests such as tree tests and card sorting, ran a competitors analysis and advised on the tone of voice, ensuring that the language remained friendly and approachable. Throughout the process, we presented our progress to stakeholders in order to obtain funding. I also collaborated with the marketing expert on a launch campaign, utilising my skills and interest in digital marketing.
